Glass Splashbacks
Whether you are renovating or building from new, nothing creates quite as much impact in the kitchen or bathroom as an elegant glass splashback. With it's clean lines and unlimited colour choices, glass splashbacks are both durable and easy to maintain. There is no grout to worry about so they are easy to keep mould-free and sparkling clean.
Here at Axis / Caloundra Glass we use only high quality 6mm "A" Grade toughened safety glass tested to Australian Standard AS1288(2006).
Your choice of standard toughened glass (suitable for darker colours or where the natural green tinge of standard glass is desired) or low-iron toughened glass (recommended for light colours, where the natural greenish tinge of standard glass is removed from the glass so the true colour comes through).
We will custom-make your splashback to suit your kitchen or bathroom. This means we can cut the glass to practically any shape. Powerpoint cutouts are not a problem nor are cutouts around your range hood or other appliances. Glass splashbacks can be quoted at any time (simply contact us now !) but they are generally fitted last - after all your kitchen/bathroom fittings and appliances are in place. That way we get an accurate, tight fitting installation.
